We shall meeting in person again on Thursday 12 February 2026 (we do not meet in August) in Victoria Road, Salisbury starting at 2pm. All supporters welcome but note it is a business meeting. The group was established over 51 years ago. We held a photo op on 3 October in Salisbury Market square by the Guildhall.
Readers might like to note that we hosted the author and journalist Peter Oborne who Came to Salisbury on 21st to talk about his new book ‘Complicit’. It discusses the conflict taking place in Gaza. Details on our website or see below ‘Britain’s role in the destruction of Gaza’. Free with a parting collection. The event was a great success.
Welcome to the award-winning site of the Salisbury UK group of Amnesty International. We are an active group who meet monthly and campaign on a range of topics including the death penalty, North Korea and stop torture. This year we may concentrate on the Human Rights Act and the current government’s desire to abolish it.
On the site you will find details of how to join, minutes of our meetings, articles concerning human rights issues, and news of any campaign actions.
Other Amnesty groups are welcome to take posts from this site and use them on their sites if they wish.
Comments are welcome.

I am a teacher in Shaftesbury, and would like to know if you have a speaker at Amnesty Salisbury who would be willing to come and give our sixth form a talk as part of their General Studies Friday afternoon lectures?
My email address is swilliams@st-marys-shaftesbury.co.uk
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I am interested in co.ing to the Aparteid meeting on 13th June and bringing friends. Is there disabled parking nearby?

Sorry not to have replied before now. Yes plenty of parking in the Central Car Park and you can see the Church spire to enable you to find it.
